You are going to participate in an experiment at the University of Koblenz-Landau.

This is an experiment in which we compare different methods for visualizing networks. First, we will give you the definition of several network properties, and then we will show you pairs of networks, and ask you which has a higher or lower value of a given property.

The name "no hairball" is inspired by the fact that many network visualization methods produce graph drawings that essentially look like a big hairball when the network is too large. The goal of this experiment is to find ways of visualizing networks that do not suffer from this "hairball" problem.
